There have been reports of some stores selling it a few days early. Maybe you won't need to stand in line.

Same as all the other sim city games, but better...

You're a city planner. You build roads, zone land, run garbage collection, collect taxes etc etc...

Yes, but this one is supposed to allow you to do different worlds, multiple cities, and so much more. Like 4x's what you did with the last Sim City. :)

This game is uber harder. So much more can go wrong. But its sooo pretty.

If you need it now, goto gamestop, if not out, ask the guys at the counter...they'll sell it.

I can confirm this. I ordered SC4 back in December, and I recieved my copy yesterday morning. When I went to EB to pick up the guide this afternoon, they had it displayed and they had about 20 games out in plain view. Strange though, EB isn't shipping anymore and wont ship the game again until the 14th.

Sims = short for Simulation

You build, manage, and run a simulated city. You control everything on a city planning level; funding, taxes, zoning, services...

There's disasters you can trigger (or at least you could in 2k, not sure about 3k, even though I still play it), including one with giant robots. So yes, there's killing

Yeah, and the killing is kinda neat in that you can set fire to a building, and watch your city's population drop :D

I'll probably pick it up but I affraid that I will quickly become bored with it. It might have some new gazmos and gidgets but I think it might be the exact gameplay. I hope I'm wrong.

If you guys want to try and get it early you might try Wal-mart supercenters, they sometimes display games before they come out.

They had warcraft 3 out on the shelves at our local supercenter, several days early.

This is a big game so they may do the same with it, just a shot in the dark.
