Three legged wiener dog

In another thread I was accused of making up the story about a 3 legged wiener dog, so here it is.

The left rear leg had to be removed after a kid shot the dog with a 22 rifle.

Not really. Animals are superior to people when it comes to stuff like this, they adapt instead of whine and bitch. I had a Boxer that had to have one of her rear legs removed due to disease at 10 months old. That is actually how I got the dog since the owners were a show dog operation and were going to have her put down instead.

She lived to be 11 years old. She never knew she was missing a leg. She was one of the fastest dogs I have ever seen when it came to chasing down cats and such. It was funny how she would be running around and get a little tired and only stop where she could lean against something so she didn't have try to get up with only 1 rear leg. Smart dog.

Back OT the dog looks great and is old.... what age did it hapen at and how old now?

I had a Lab with a leg problem and wanted to 3 leg him and the doctors fought it and he ended up having seizures at 5yrs old with nothing like that in his blood line.... still think of him and if I did the wrong thing by him because the docs think only one way.

I was the accuser and I'm officially giving you credit:thumbsup:. I had a tough day today and your story made me lol. I know it might not be funny to you but you must admit it's amusing. I have never seen a 3 legged wiener dog in my life or any 3 legged dog in IRL .
As far as kids are concerned go on the offensive and feed them just candy. When they leave your house give them safety whistles as gifts they are cheap and their parents are going to love them. Next time when they are at your house the parents will pay more attention to them.
