Why do people have to kill innocent people? Why not go for the people who are actually doing something you don't like? If I was pissed off that the NRA was going to tear my house down, I wouldn't go terrorize some random member of the community, I would go to the NRA headquarters...

What gets me isn't the fact that there are fanatics doing this kind of thing, but the sheer number of fanatics doing it. You would think they would be running low on people to do this kind of thing at this point, but no, they are just a strong as ever. It is very disconcerting that there are that many people in this world who would rather die for their cause than put any rational effort forth to compromise and solve the problem peacefully. Call me an Idealist, that is how I feel though.

I dont understand the point of doing this. The Palestinians will accomplish nothing. Even though I am Pro-Palestinian, I dont understand why they continue killing people who have nothing to do with the occupation.

Even though I am Pro-Palestinian, I dont understand why they continue killing people who have nothing to do with the occupation.

I'm sure it could not have anything to do with the belief that if a Muslim dies while killing Jews he goes to paradise and gets 72 white raisins.

Do some research before coming up with stupid statements like that. The thing I dont understand is why Americans are so against terrorists, yet they believe every word that comes out of their mouth. Since when were terrorists credible sources of information? I guess I should do some reasearching about Timothy McVeigh. No one knows more about the American government more then he does.

Because they are evil. The point is to instill terror in the general public so that everyone is afraid to leave their houses for any reason. Unfortunately, it's working.

The sad part is that the top story on cnn.com is the execution of some murderer, and on foxnews.com its Chandra Levy. Has it happened so often that we don't care anymore?

Isreal has shown incredible restraint. The terrorist branch of Arafats own party has already claimed reponsiblity! I don't see the US being told to have restraint against Bin Ladin just because he isn't all of Al Queda.

cnn is generally US-biased in its reporting. I wouldnt expect every shooting in the US to be front page news in israel, would you?

As far as restraint, Im not sure what they can do. They did finish off some raids today that ended with the arrest of 11 (and the death of a 55-year-old and the injury of two others.)
