THREE for ONE suits at Jos A Bank coming back next week

A couple weeks ago I got six mens suits valued at $795 each for $1600 at Joseph A Banks.

I was in the store today getting the tailoring done and the sales rep said that deal would be back again in about a week.

If you need good (but not flashy) suits, keep your eyes open for this deal.

I love their suits. They aren't flashy as OP says, but they fit well and look fantastic. At 3 for one, that's going to be $200 a pop. Not bad at all, but they do have their $199 + one more for $99 sales every now and then. Those are the real winners.

Their top of the line suits aren't that bad. Their lower end is what is it is, but not bad. I can buy a Hickey-Freeman suit at Syms for that price on sale, and I actually own Hickey-Freeman, BB's and JAB suits. No contest, the HF and BB are better. Better construction all the way around. But...if you don't have a SYMS nearby, this isn't a bad deal. The suits are not $800 suits, but are solid $250-275 ones.

I own a Jos a Bank suit, myself, and I think it's fine. They are, however, *CONTINUALLY* running deals like buy-one get-one 50%, etc. This deal is better than normal, but you'd be crazy to pay their listed retail price.

Agree with most of posters above. I own ~ 4 of their Signature line of suits including a sportcoat which are pretty good and were bought during their buy 1 get 1 sale.

I'm not a fan of their lower grade suits at all, however.

I agree with the above posters as well. I have to wear a suit 5 days a week for work, and they don't pay me enough to afford BB or higher at that rate of wear.. haha.

I have one really bad suit that looks like its polyester from JAB. Oddly, the secretaries always complement me when I wear it.. lol

My other JAB suits look fine and have held up pretty darn well.

What kind of job is this? I make more than enough to wear a suit every day and when I interviewed for this position the manager apologized to me for not telling me to NOT wear a suit to the interview.

A few weeks ago I went to the local JAB to try on a couple of their suits since they had the $160 sale online. In store they were offering the 3 for 1 deal, but I would never pay $700 for those suits. BB "346" had some suits for $250 - $350 range when I went last week, and I'd much rather have 2 $350 BB suits than 3 "$700" JAB suits.

That said, for $160 I'm satisfied with the suits for daily wear, and they're better than anything I remember seeing at SYMS in this price range.

how do these compare to the $175 - $200 ish Men Warehouse suits? One of my coworkers bought a mens warehouse suit and it looked pretty damn good.

My feeling is that they are at least one full cut above Mens Warehouse. That said, I am not familiar with the entire lineup you can get at MW, maybe the higher end stuff is decent.
