I would reason why the threats are on the rise against O'Bamma is that he is an obnoxious self centered bag of wind that goes out of his way to talk down to all his detractors. The man exudes arrogance. It is almost like O'Bammah thinks he is the king of the world. Is there any wonder why a lot of people do not hate the arrogant politician?
O'Bammah is stealing from the Poor and giving the money to the rich banks while people are being layed off and their houses are all being reposessed. People see the government helping banks and car companies while people are having to spend all their retirement funds and paying tax penalties. Do you need any other reason to hate the man? Enough with rescuing rich assholes that are paying themselves bonuses while the poor get poorer!

Ignoring your second paragraph, you are right about one thing: he's an arrogant guy. He makes Bush look timid.

I explained about a month back why all this is happening. Let me paraphrase it here again:
Those of us with some degree of normally formed conscious awareness can't have helped but notice that many folk on the right seem to have lost their minds now that Obama is President.
Glen and Rush, are having full blown psychotic breaks. The amount of insanity, innuendo, vituperation, and vicious spite frothing up in thread after thread is specularly amazing. Even the 'anybody-but-Bush' madness of the left seems tame by comparison. Anyway, you either see this or you are likely one of those who is suffering from exactly that of which I speak. (Death threats are just more of the same.)
Now it's sad to see so many people living with such mental pain and I think, unconsciously I have been looking for some way to alleviate this agony. But how and to what can we ascribe the problem. Without knowing the disease we can't find a cure.
Well there I was washing the dishes, in my usual state of reverie, when all of a sudden it hit me.
The insane hate Obama because he isn't. Yes Yes Yes! That's it! He loves those poor bastards just like I do. He cares that they are mad and is trying to help them, to bring them to the light, to speak to them all the time with justice and fairness in his presentation, with intelligence and wisdom and reason and logic. That is why they hate him, he returns their hate with love, their insanity with sanity, their rage with calm understanding. He has compassion and understanding and does not condemn. He knows they are sick and can't help themselves because they are mentally ill. They are small and he is large. They despise him for the obvious contrast. He makes us aware that we are sick.
So now we know the symptoms and of course, I know the disease. It's that old self hate again. One of the signs of self hate that people seem never to notice is that it makes you feel as though you are not worth being loved. It's why we destroy relationships. Anybody who loves us, and we would do anything for love, then has to be cast off as a fool. Anybody who loves me must be a fool because I am no good. We want love and when we get it we turn it into shit. We test the love until we break it, so we can feel how bad we really feel.
So there it is............we hate Obama with all our guts and fury because he refused to tell us how worthless we are and treats us nicely like we were worthy, the stupid asshole. How unkind of him to makes us so mad. We would feel thousands of times better, I absolutely know for certain, if he's just get off his white horse and put us down. We're dying here, Mr. Pres, could you please do us a favor and use us for a toilet. We can't live shit free.
Well I guess poor Obama is not wise enough like me to understand the problem and thus he can't deliver the cure, but, naturally enough and again, good old Moonbeam can:

On the day you were born truth died and got stuffed up your ass, your coat has holes in the elbows, and your hair is falling out. Were you dropped on your head or do you work hard at being so dense? Left wing loons are more likely to threaten the right. Right wing loons more likely to threaten the left. Obama is on the left so most threats probably come from the right. This is such a simple concept even you should be able to get it.
Sort of. When you feel like shit you act as if you are and your acting takes the course of your cultures norm. The south got put down for being racist slave holders and lost a war so culturally they are more sick in the race department. The left has a different modality.

Yep. Now that deaths are increasing monthly in Afghanastan, I wonder how many want to do the same thing to Obama for not bringing them home.
