*82 or *67 i believe blocks/unblocks numbers

*82 for caller ID and *67 for the *69 option

1) get police involved
2) arm up
3) hope he tries something
4) go for the artistic impression bonus points when you FVCK his sh!t up!

I'd use a shotgun and my hammer if I were you.

I'd file a police report so you have something to say that "hey this happened" if it escalates further (vandilism of your home, injury to your or your family)

Fair enough. I'd definitely file the report immediately. It's true that they might not do anything, but you'll be in a much better position having this incident on record if this guy does something else.

If you truly believe that the person calling is the guy that you know, i'd also look into whether a restraining order is feasible.

Truthfully, it's hard to prevent someone from doing something before the fact. Possibly you can scare the guy, and you can be prepared so if the guy slips up or escalates his behavior it's much easier to get something done.

I'd like to know what they could have possibly said that you'd get this worked up over one phone call.

Unless it was someone saying "i'm going to send a bullet through those blue pajamas you're wearing right now, mrchan", it's probably an empty threat.

If you do have a wepaon issue it to your GF, a handgun would be great. IMO pepperspray would work in most case but when it comes to a point she might need something more than that. Hopefully this will never have to happen, file a report with the police and demand action, it's their duty to protect and serve not to sit behind a desk and do jack.

And make sure you tell them that when you call. Many of them didn't receive this information in their training manuals.

Sigh, gf doesn't want to file police report yet and the police won't let me do it on her behalf. She's hoping it's a prank call.

Still going to get her some pepper spray though.
