Threads not found

Sometimes, I get an email notification about a thread and when I click on the link in the email to view it, your forum says: Post not found .. this has been happening now and then since the switchover to the "new & improved" forum software and layouts ... Below is one such email:

After he made that post it was deleted as spam and the user was removed. The spam filters do not catch everyone so some have to be removed manually.

Then why did I get an email if the post is no more ?

I imagine the notification was generated when the post was made which was some 17 minutes before it was deleted.
