We are working on it.

It happens in all threads Derek. Even in the forum display pages.

I'm using IE6

Here are a few screens:

Broken on Firefox 2.0.0.4 on long threads only. You don't need more screens, it's the same as everyone else.

This happened on the last version of the forums as well. I started a thread and posted screen shots, but it never was addressed. I have a feeling this is a Fusetalk problem that is more than surface deep.

Just wanted to come in and add a "me too".

Firefox 2.0.0.4

I think I have the post count set at the highest it will go for displaying threads.

EDIT: I meant to say I have it set at 200 messages per page.
Reduced it to 40 per page and haven't seen the error yet, but now I have to click through 5 pages of posts for a single thread which is why I set it to 200 in the first place.

This has been broken for me in long threads since the new FT.

I got some pictures below. They are taken from the Official Wii thread, on page 2.

Cuts off randomly
all the way to bottom

This happens on just about every long thread, but sometimes only on some of the pages. Page 1 of that Wii thread was fine. I have the number of posts/messages per page set to 120. It might be something to do with these new options... it might not happen when set at old max of 100, but not confirmed.

Windows XP Pro SP2, Firefox 2.0.0.4

Also, I use the All-in-one mouse gestures extension. When the page cuts off like in that picture, when I "draw" a mouse gesture, it does not appear on the cut off/messed up white part, even though it is actually drawing. It doesn't prevent the gesture from working, just I can't see what I drew like I can on just about any other webpage (except Flash and some others). So maybe that might be a clue on what exactly is being drawn in that white space instead of the rest of the thread.

I would give you some links, but as I said it is basically any long thread with > 1 page. Quick examples:

Off-topic:
AnandTech Off-Topic Member Gallery
Official Wii thread part 2
Networking thread
Cycling for a cause

Video:
In House HD2900XT vs. 8800GTS 640
LCD thread

Basically EVERY long thread does it, mostly on ever page of those long threads. They all look exactly the same as the two pictures I linked.

Yup, setting Posts per page to 40 seems to be a temporary fix. Haven't tried 60, but 100(my previous setting) definitely doesn't work.

Cutoff on long threads here too. It seems to be when there are many long posts, such as stickies.

Was working OK on Sea Monkey 1.0.5 until I upgraded Java.

XP SP2 with Sea Monkey 1.0.5, upgraded to 1.1.2, same issue.

I tried 80 and it works. I had mine set to 500 for the longest time. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Same problem, I was about to post this, and I found everyone else has the problem. Why is this 'answered' - what is the answer?

Seriously, was there any beta testing before you released this to the public? Between the quotes, threads disappearing as you scroll down, etc...

The answer that is posted is a non-answer of sorts that means that they are trying to figure it out but apparently haven't done so yet.
