The wait is killing me lol. My 2 960pro 1tb drives came in on Saturday. The ram comes Monday. Then the wait begins until the 10th. Wonder if Amazon will ship out the motherboard and CPU for delivery on the 10th...

I have my case, PSU, SSD and 360 AIO cooler sitting here waiting on the motherboard/TR, Like you I hope newegg ships to its delivered by the 10th, but ......

can't stand the wait.

I'm waiting to see if Microcenter is going to run any kind of special. With Ryzen they were giving $100 off with the purchase of a motherboard. Hoping they do the same thing with Threadripper. Either way, I'll just pick it up on Thursday.

Working 3 minutes away from a Microcenter is awesome.

I went into my microcenter and they said they will have thread-ripper on the 10th. Not sure what kind of combo deals they will have though but I'll wait until they do.

Don't bet on it. They completely butchered the Ryzen and x299 releases. I pre-ordered a CPU and mobo the hour it was available for order. I would not have received either until weeks after release...no one that pre-ordered from them did. Amazon is usually tops for pre-ordering stuff, but Amazon has been terrible with hardware lately.

I think I'll wait for sales (Black Friday). I've been looking at the Zenith Extreme since it was announced, but it's overpriced in my opinion. It looks worse when compared to the other motherboards currently available price wise. I don't see $100 better than the Asrock Pro Gaming or $200 over the Taichi.

I've downloaded a few motherboard manuals to go through, in the meantime, I'll watch/read reviews and see what new motherboards show up (like Asus Strix). I'm going to try to order a pair of RX Vega 64s' with the money since they might be a little harder to come by at MSRP in the future.

I have a 64gb Kit of ddr4 3000mhz quad channel Corsair memory kit and am debating if I should sell the kit and buy a 32gb 3600mhz kit.

I just called newegg (where I ordered mine from) They won't ship until the release date, so I may not get mine until next Tuesday.!!! arg.....

hmmmmm I am thinking about upgrading to one of these Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB 360mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler currently I have a H105 but this one is also compatible .Then I might as well get a new case and maybe forget vega and just buy a gtx1080ti. My new builds always do this........

I have a graveyard in a spare room of unused computer hardware and full tower gaming cases. 🙂
