i had a thread on encryption and the mods emailed me and told me that its been removed. i dont remember reading about that in the forum rules, anyone know?
 
Why did they remove it? Was there discussion of illegal/possibly illegal activities? Something along those lines will usually get it gone in a hurry.
 
Remove the "re" from "remove" and you have your explanation of what happened. The thread was never deleted, just put in the proper category. 🙂
