What happened to the thread in OT where the guy was asking about going to medical school since his mother has cancer? It seemed innocent enough. Did I miss a nasty flame or something.

It was deleted...when I clicked on the link without refreshing the OT listing, I got the page you requested does not exist, like when a thread is deleted.
 
My only question was what went wrong? It was a guy who was asking what he needed to do to get into Medical School...then poof, gone.
