Big problem I have with this digital service is it seems downloads are limited. Either that or you have to download and backup unless you pay them an extra $5. In which case they will save your games online for 2 years. You can see what I mean if you add a game to your cart. They'll auto add the extra service for $5. You have to remove it from your cart.

Any idea if these can be redeemed on Steam? I already own TQ Gold, SC2, Warhammer DoW II, CoH, and Metro 2033 but wouldn't mind picking up Darksiders for that price. 🙂

Edit: nevermind, just bought Darksiders for $10 and activated the serial number on Steam with no issues. Thanks!

It was stupidly easy - they list the key on your receipt after you purchase, and you can simply copy / paste it into Steam (go to Library -> Add a Game (near bottom left) -> Activate Product on Steam).

I just wanted to confirm that what CurseTheSky posted is accurate; just double check that the game you buy from THQ is on Steam's retail list. I specifically did this with both Dawn of War II games. Metro 2033 and Darksiders should also be possible, but I did not try this myself.

Interestingly, when I put the code into Steam for CR, it only needed to download 1MB of info. It seems that DoWII normal download includes CR, then all you do is activate it after purchase. No seperate download.

Now thinking about Metro...
