Looked at the lyrics.. looks full of teenage angst coming from a 30 year old man, just like the last couple albums.

I have to agree. Aaron Lewis needs to get over whatever trauma he suffered in high school and move on with his life.

i got the album last night, haven't really listened to it much, just browsed thru, seems like a lot of the same, still good, but this album seems to be slower, my fav. album is still the first (dysfuction), not much hardness on this album.

ahh well, ill listen to it when i get time, im busy w/ the new deftones right now :p

their new single is relatively hard rocking.

i love Aaron and his tortured power ballads, though. it's what they do the best in my opinion

You are correct.

Interestingly, there seems to be a natural progression of these guys toward more slower, power-ballad type songs. I hear the newest album, 14 Shades of Gray, has more slower songs as well.

I think this is perfectly fine, since in my opinion it's their best music.
