Thoughts on Sailor Jerry rum?

I really like it. Last night I had it with some ice and loved every last drop of it. Tonight I'm having it with coke and it's pretty good.

Is this cheap rum? middle of the road stuff? What other brands of rum should I try out?

You'll find the exact same thing with Sailor Jerry 🙂 I prefer SJ to CM though.

Oh, and to answer one of the OPs questions, it's not expensive at all. BevMo.com has it at the same price as CM ($21/handle) though I've found it to be 10-20% more expensive than CM around here.

i've never heard of kraken, how much does it cost for a litre or handle? i was oging to get a handle of captain morgan tonight but i may try that out instead if it's not too much (and if htey carry it)

Ever tried drinking a bit of Captain Morgan and Sailor Jerry straight? Captain tastes bland compared to Sailor Jerry.
