Thoughts on replacing shocks

I have a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder w 94K on it. I got sick of the steering wheel wobble and replaced the struts. Problem solved. Is there really any need to replace the shocks, too? I inspected them and they weren't leaking and the ride isn't real bouncy or anything.

Any benefit from replacing them?

Struts include shock absorbers as part of their design, so if you actually replaced your struts, then you already replaced your front shocks by default. Are you talking about your rear shocks?

My guess is he is talking about rears. That said, you'd likely notice an improvement but if they're only worn and not leaking it may not be night & day.

They'll be a lot cheaper than the struts were and at 94k miles it is probably time even if they aren't leaking. This is something you could easily do yourself too if you have some simple tools and the time.
