same, i can ping the ip but no game shows up in steam..

Yeah, same here. None of my source games work anymore

yup, happened to me and MCrusty.

nourdmrolNMT1 if you look in your steam folder under the steam apps and then the game you try to run, do you have a LOT of crash dumps from every time you tried to run the program? i do. and i dont know how to read them/

MCrusty Yep, I have LOTS of them...looks like they are binary files. Most likely a dump of the memory

nourdmrolNMT1 one pops up every time you try to run the program. i still cant get it to run. damn this sucks. and it fvcked HL2 also and CS:S.

MCrusty Yep, it killed all my source engine games. Hopefully valve will have a fix for it soon

There have been deathmatch mods out for CS 1.6 for quite some time. One of my regularly-attended servers uses the mod. It rocks.
