Just want to hear your experiences with this heatsink/fan combo. I was debating between the new Zalman and a Thermalright SLK 800 for a bit, but now not sure if I really want to go through the hassle. After reading a bunch of positive reviews for the Aeroflow, I'm now considering purchasing one to replace the Volcano 9 noise maker I currently have installed. The only thing is that the reviews seem to be split on how much noise the Aeroflow produces. Honestly, anything besides the Volcano 9 must be an improvement but I'd like to hear some comments from the board. Anyone??

Just in case...

I have the Aeroflow and the same motherboard. It's been a pleasant surprise as to how well this thing can cool. Right now I'm running my 2500 at 1.80V and load temps today were about 40-43C (case temp 20C). I'm not a quiet freak, so to me the fan is pretty quiet. The loudest fan in my PC right now is my video card, but when I uplug that the computer is whisper quiet. If you aren't going to do any major overclocking I'd say go for it.

I'm not interested in any overclocking. Well, I'm used to the fan that was installed on my old p3 800. The ThermalTake Volcan 9 is ridiculously loud compared to that even when set at 3500 RPM.

Aeroflow is not a quiet HSF. Go for something that can mount a 80mm fan.

I am also having trouble how this fan can be quiet at 5600RPMS!
