Boooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuurns.

Damn it Juice Box. After all I've done for you! This is how you repay me? Sure, he's not as good as he used to be. But don't jump on the "He's famous, so he now sux" bandwagon.

By the way....did you know Mysteryland is track one on Pure Euphoria n00b! :p

DJ Tiesto. Pretty famous, as he's "The world's best DJ", in some stupid popularity poll. He is/was/is a good DJ. Released TONS of CD's (Compilations), few original works CD's, done plenty of collaborations with other producers, and some pretty good remixes.

These days, sort of gets a bad rap. I've been concentrating on other artists/producers these days, so don't know if he's really lost it. Need to get back to his stuff.

By the way....Ferry Corsten. Go check him out. Everyone reading this.

Is there any money in mixing, or do you lose everything in royalties?

edit: Funny OP, btw, even if I don't know anything about the scene.

Yes, Ferry Corsten is good... I like Armin for some reason, too, but I'm completely hooked on more hardcore stuff like Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection and Astrix... DJ Scot Project, too :)

I don't think so. Sometimes the remixes themselves are completely new interpretations of the song, and they sell them for compilations/trax for sale. The "remix" part is sometimes just the melody, or certain elements of the original.

But, I really dunno.

M-Traxx - Mysteryland is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome. Especially non-vocal mix. Oldie, but VERY goodie.

Y-Traxx...and YES. Simply Amazing. The way Oakenfold uses it to start of "Resident, Two Years @ Cream", with the crowds screaming.....greatest opening ever.

EDIT: Originally done by this guy.

So many trance songs, hard to remember the name and/or artist. Got most of it correct, though :) Thanks for the correction. Wish there was more of 1999/2000 trance, that's my MOST favorite era of trance. Never coming back, unfortunately :(
