I am running 1001c right now. Everything works fine. Should I upgrade? Plus I remember reading something about the 1004 bios making the processor running hotter. Is this true? Does it matter? Should I upgrade? What are the changes that the new bios will make?
 
The most noticeable update is the increased overall performance of the board so I suggest you do upgrade.
 
NO...I am running my 1.2 tbird at 9.5x 148 ...with bios 1.004 and have seen no difference in temps
