Those who bought the Radeon 8500 @ dell, what is your ETA?

I'm curious. From 2 days ago when the whole dell thing started, it seems that everyone who ordered before 8PM CST has an estimated shipping date of 10/05, and everyone who ordered later has 10/08 or 10/11. I checked my order status and it still says 10/05 right now, and I ordered it at around 7:30PM on the 2nd, and with next day air. What are your ETA's, what time did you order, and what shipping method did you pick?
 
My eta is also 10/5 and I also ordered before 8:00pm central time. I was stupid and selected the ground shipping for free. Oh well.🙁
 
I have an ETA of 10/05 also. I ordered my card at 7:30 on Tuesday night. It seems like everyone that ordered before 10 pm has a shipping date of the 5th. They must of sold out what they expected to get in by that time and everyone else got their dates pushed back. I am hoping they shipout on time. Maybe we might get it on Saturday. 🙂

Mine while I sit back and wait for everyone say how great or bad it is after they have there cards for a few days. I am in no hurry to jump in on day one this round, but I will have a new card before the end of the year, rad 8500 or a geforce3 ? who knows. Drivers scare me with the ati cards.
 
Still have 10/5 here. I thought it would change today or something.. I hope it stays that way and they don't push the cards back another week like a lot of people are speculating.

I went with ground shipping, I could barely afford the card as it is and the extra $10 is 2 more drinks I will have to give up next week at the bar.

Alot of people are mistaking shipping date with arrival date. Just wanted to note that.

we don't, but the beta drivers for it were up there with a geforce3, people are hoping that the final drivers are going to make it faster than a geforce3, and hopefully the ti500.

they know just like everyone knew the nforce would be faster than the kt266a because the specs said so..

oh, wait, now that it's here, it isn't faster than the kt266a.. wtf????

all kidding aside tho, at $200, does it really matter if it's slightly slower? the bigger quesion would be stability/compatibility w/ drivers. if that's good, nv really needs to rethink the price everyone seems to think ti500 come in at (mid $300).
 
I bought the 8500 because of the price. I plan on doing more DVD watching and was going to buy the 64DDR VIVO anyways. But what tha hell, I gave in and went up 1 step.
