Those PS4 commercials are fantastic

The "it's a perfect day" and "greatness awaits" campaign is really fantastic.

Kind of like the Call of Duty commercials which sort of make fun of the game.

Who is the ad agency?

cannot stand those commercials. the worst part is when he is flipping over in the car.

"YOU JUST KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPP MMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HHHHAAAAANNNNNGGGGIIINNNNGGGG OOOOOOONNNNNN"

i want to punch the tv every time i see him with that smirk on his face as his hair is rolling with the car and his dumbass voice.

and then immediately after that, we see the worst enemy in the history of video games - the helghast - with their stupid ass red eyes, firing directly at the opposition in front of them, and nobody can hit anything.

cannot stand these commercials, but they are engrained in my head so good for sony on that part.

I've not seen the other one, but the perfect day one is awful. Totally ruins a great song.
I like the old PS3 commercials with the fake executive guy; that dude was awesome.

I like that other SONY commercial though, the one where there's different things happening on each scene highlighting all that they do.

I hate both of those commercials. They have unlikable people in them and incredibly stupid situations showcasing absolutely nothing about the console except for Sony's ability to make awful commercials.

meh, I kinda like em because they remind me of something I enjoy immensely. Playing video games. However, the perfect day one is super played out.

There is no such thing as a good video game ad.

We live in the 21st century, the best ad possible is a gamestream or 'let's play' video where the thing doesn't look like crap.

The 2nd best possible is a gameplay trailer.

Even worse than typical BS ads are 'teaser trailers'. Useless time-wasting garbage that tells you nothing.

I actually kind of like the "Perfect Day" one because it's so stupid. But, damn, that song gets stuck in my head, with its off-key singing and everything, and that's obnoxious.

See my sig.

Of course its fan made though.

Namco must be aware because they got downright epic and hair raising with the Ni no Kuni trailers.

I wonder if Kevin Butler asked for too much money to do PS4 ads? I forgot a lot of those PS3 ads, but the almost every one he's in, is great.

Sony sued him and the ad agency after he appeared in that bridgestone commercial where he was playing a Nintendo Wii.

Hahah WOW. I did not know that. I'd be willing to bet his contract had pretty clear verbiage in there about not promoting other consoles.

I thought these commercials were horrendous, especially the "Perfect Day" one. My biggest issue with it is that they didn't ever show game footage, so you didn't know which games the bros were playing. Killzone was obvious. The racing game was PROBABLY Driveclub, but I question advertising a game with no release date in a 3-game commercial. Then you had the first game, which I simply didn't know the identity of. It was all just poorly done, right down to the moronic, off-key singing.

I don't watch much TV, but these are on the top of the list of least favorite commercials. Especially since I thought they would have made a new commercial by now.
