I'm still riding my 8800GT 512MB like a cheap hooker. I won't upgrade until I get what I consider to be a good deal.


I was hoping the 470 would retail for $329.99 and the 480 for $449.99. At least that would have put some real pressure on 5850 and 5870 prices. I doubt the street price for the 480 will drop below $500.00 since there is that huge $300.00 price gap between the 5870 and the 5790.

dont you still have a pc with a single core cpu or did you get a new one?
