those movies from 1999+ about going to college

They're a guilty pleasure of mine 😱 They're all pretty much the same. Some guys want to get with a chick, and have tons of fun before graduation, or get into all sorts of trouble. Then, of course, there is the plot drama between the protagonist and the hottie girls. Oh, yeah, and each of these movies feature at least one Blink 182 song.

In no order...

1) 10 Things I Hate About You
2) Van Wilder
3) The Girl Next Door
4) American Pie
5) Loser
6) Roadtrip
7) Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle
8) Superbad

I know I'm missing some ... but I love those movies. So many cool crazy antics. Too bad college here isn't like that 🙁

You guys know what I mean? I think I might be the only one here.

They're OK. Personally, I prefer the 80's / John Hughes ones.

Here are some that you missed:
- Can't hardly wait
- Old school
- She's all that

eh I prefer the 80's - when movies actually had much more plot (albeit much more corny) than "some guy trying to get with some girl" but pretty much same genre:
Fast Times
Dazed and Confused
Animal House
Revenge of the Nerds
Breakfast Club
Ferris Buelers Day Off
Porky's
Meatballs
Weird Science
Teen Wolf

Holy crap. I can't believe NL's Senior Trip is from '95, I feel kind of old. While it is certainly not national lampoon's best film, it is right up there with this genre of movie. Just watched Girl Next Door yesterday. Pretty much a classic.

Yeah, see I can tolerate the occasional American Pie or Superbad, but movies like:
Real Genius
Dazed and Confused
Ferris Bueller

are some of my favorite movies period. I just haven't liked anything since D&C in this genre.

I love all those movies. American Pie was probably my favorite.

I saw Girl Next Door on TV yesterday and decided I should just watch it in its entirety so I downloaded it 😀 ...

There are a ton of movies that are like this, but I never get tired of them!!!

The one thing about "10 things", if you watch carefully, Julia Stiles gets hotter in every scene as the movie goes along.

Saw pretty much all of those and they were fun movies. I actually enjoyed all of the American Pie movies (including the off-beat ones: Band Camp, The Naked Mile, Beta House).

The New Guy

Good movie that I never heard of until I picked up The Benchwarmers at Wal-Mart. It came as two-pack thing and I was so surprised that I missed that movie as it was pretty fun to watch.

Ferris Buelers Day Off

Another movie that I had put off watching for the longest time... I saw it maybe 4 months ago and it was pretty good .

Teen Wolf

Hah, watched this because it had Michael J. Fox in it and I was a fan since I first saw Back to the Future 😛.
