Does anyone know where I can buy just the drip trays that come with those things? Mine decided to jump from the top rack of the dishwasher to the bottom and melt away as a result.

thanks,
don

i just perch mine over the sink

you have to run hot water for a while to make sure it doesn't resolidify but thats about it.

What I did once because I couldn't find my drip tray was just let the end hang off over the sink and leave the hot water running.

Google shows nothing, but I'll third the motion to hang it over the sink. I've been doing that for years. just run some hot water and you'll be fine.

I'm sure if you go to the container store or crate and barrel or something you should fine a bowl that should fit about right.

If you have a cat you can just let it drip right on the counter. The cat will clean it up for you.

I use all kinda stuff. Empty baby food jars, styrofoam plates (That didnt work so well actually. I wouldnt recommend that), little oriental sauce bowls, paper plates (Much better then styrofoam), the plastic cap off hairspray type bottles, diapers (Clean of course!) and generally whatever else I can find laying around.

The Oriental type bowls worked the best. The little sauce type ones (They make a bigger version of the little sauce one, thats the one)

Um, I would HIGHLY recommend AGAINST that.

Draino is poison. Read the bottle, I think it specifically says not to use it in your sink.

If you were being sarcastic, then I'm sorry I missed it, it's kinda hard to pick up in written word... ;)

WTF are you talking about. What do you think draino is for? Hell yeah you can put it in your sink.

LOL!!! Same EXACT thing happened to me. Might wanna try calling the company and claim you never got one? :p I think it's a poor design since it flips around so easily in the dishwasher. ;)

I figured you can also because when you pour drano down there it's not the same water that you drink or wash your dishes with.

Those things really suck. Just take a used coffee can and cut it down to 1" tall and use that. that's what I do, it works fine. The occassional cut, but I didn't want to deal with silicon on the sharp edges.

I believe that Draino is frowned upon for pipe use because it is caustic enough to melt the pipes

Ours tends to drip on a chair, when will never come inside again, until we move out that is.
