My dad just gave me this newpaper article from the Baltimore sun.
Is it me, or is this a blatant violation of our 4th(i think that's it) amendment rights against unlawful search and siezure? It essentially amounts to company being founded on the basis of providing a hacking service. It's not enough that they shut down napster, now they have to go for the users. They do have one very weak link: They are relying on the ISP's to deny service until the file is deleted. That's like saying to them: "hey why don't you cut your profit margins by a considerable figure." Yea i bet they'll go for that.
