Thoroughbred: Any new info?

I did read up on some old Thoroughbred threads in this forum and yet to have found any answers that I am looking for. I read at HardOCP that Thoroughbred core cpus are being sampled out this week...so I'm guessing that they should be here soon.
I was wondering...:

-compatability with the socket A mobos..some people say that we can old upgrade to the 2100+ any new info on this?
-what is the diff between the Tbred and the palomino?
-anything else intresting to note?
