Got my Thorlos a couple days ago and will try them out tomorrow. They certainly look and feel like very high quality socks.

received socks today

9 days from order, not bad

quality socks but not really that padded fyi

less padding than a traditional heavy athletic tube sock on the sole and standard compression sock on the upper

not being critical, just giving information

What kind did you get?

I got the hiking-type and there is tons of padding

Did five miles in the desert with the new Thorlo hiking socks and my old hiking boots. The Thorlos were fine--felt basically the same as the hiking socks I buy at REI. Makes me wonder if they are an OEM supplier for REI . . .

I bought my first Thorlos over three years ago, and they look like new. Yes they cost a lot, but they never wear out. If you like these socks, twice a year in June and December they have a buy three pair get one free pair sale.

Thanks for the head's up. If they make a difference at my race vs. the cheap Puma crew socks I'd been using, I'll definitely keep an eye out.

Got the blue hiking sock. Interested in trying out my first higher priced sock. You never know what may come from a visit to Hot Deals!

I received my tennis socks in about 10 days. They are awesome - lots of padding, and crew length, which is rare for a tennis sock. I like screw length as I have ankle straps, and they are not comfortable directly on the skin. Will try them out on Friday. I will probably buy another pair when my USTA season starts in April.

got my pair this past Monday. this is by far the most comfortable pair of socks i have ever worn. wish i new about them when i was in the army, would of saved me from a lot of blisters. 2 thumbs up from me.....

Don't be fooled by the amount of padding, it's more about the quality of it. The cheapies start out very thick and quickly flatten out into nothing and lose their shape from my experience.

You sound desperate to be disappointed
lol ... wut???

I had no expectations or opinions about these socks or company before ordering. I have no horse in this race, so to speak.

I gave my opinion about the item ... nothing more, nothing less.

I'm sorry you don't approve of my evaluation, wait, no i'm not.

I don't give a single **** about your approval.
