Don't you think all these Xes everywhere are starting to annoy? I mean, windows XP, XMS, XMS Xpert, Xtreme, those ati chipsets Xpress, pci-X, pci-express, I say we find new letters... then again,I don't know maybe its just me though.

X's I have that I can think of:

ThermalTake Xaser III
MSI NX-6600GT
Logitech THX Speakers
Xbox
Corsair XMS

Thats all I cna think of righjt off the bat, does NOT bother me. X's only bother me in car names.

That 'X' makes everything look EXTREME TO THE MAXXX!!! And really, isn't that why we buy anything anyways? A 'Y' for the YAWN just ain't no fun.

There is also a proposed XXX. prefix for websites now. They want to move adult material from www.?????.com to XXX.??????.com They want to make it easier to filter out adult oriented material.

oh and intel Xtreme graphics.

Bad example. They're Intel "Extreme" Graphics, and the official abbreviation is IEG, not IXG. If you're going to whine about things that start with "X", at least pick ones that make sense.

Uh nope - what is being proposed (gonna happen) is a new suffix. Like .net or .com or .us etc.. - they'll all still begin w/ www

X-Fi, the new audio stuff from Creative.
And PCI Express is OK, it's PCIe as the official moniker, PCI-X is already taken.

Actually the letter that really... I mean REALLY annoys me is "i." ipod, iforce, imac, inet, iriver, itunes, iclub, itech, etc, etc. All you have to do is enter the letter "i" in any search engine and you will see what I'm talking about. Can't we let the "i" die?! Please?!

Yes, exactly! I find that the most annoying thing about the "i" prefix is that the cheap 3rd party companies that sometimes have garbage accessories for the ipod, seem to think it's ok if they add the "i" to absolutely every product they have, in order to make their trash seem as if it was approved by apple.
