I've always liked Saturn. He risked his life to save that chick. Unfortunately he got shot in the neck three times for his actions. I'm glad that he's made a full recovery.

Somebody should give him a ! :)

Usually, if you're unemployed, you don't have health insurance. He's an independent wrestler now, not hooked up with any major organization like the WWE, therefore, no benefits such as health insurance.

While I am totally behind Perry and consider him a hero, this story is proof positive why you shouldn't waste your time with anything under .40 hollows.

Um, would YOU insure someone who gets whacked in the head with a steel chair or gets thrown around a wrestling ring (or the concrete floor) for a living? Hmmm, I can imagine what the premiums would be...

Health insurance is basically a benefit that has to be agreed upon by the employee and employer. In the WWE's case, Vince has never paid for it. As you might have guessed by now, wrestlers do not have a union and are constantly screwed because they are too stupid/scared/ignorant/whatever to organize. When the WCW was still around, that company offer health benefits. In fact, Bobby the Brain Hennan has often joked that he stayed with that company only because he need medical care. If I remember correctly, NWA-TNA offers some benefits, but they are such a small organization that I doubt if they provide full coverage.

i think the lady who was nearly raped should pay a small part of that medical expense as to show gratitude to him, and the rapers must pay the rest.

As he was able to get the woman free from her attackers, he felt a burning sensation in his neck. He thought originally it was a cut stemming from a punch. However, he learned soonafter he was shot three times in the neck with a 25 caliber handgun.

lol damn, what a badass

If the law was done the way it should work then those responsible would have to cover his medical bill and other payments, such as loss of income etc. They might not have a lot of money, common, but if they do have anything they will forfit it.

It's that simple. If you do something you are responsible for your actions. Sadly the law does not work like that.

he is a hero, no doubt....but sometimes being a hero doesn't pay..

he tried to save this woman, instead got 3 bullets to his neck...not to mention the two men could've tried to come and and rape his GF as well.

Next time, call the police.

The only way you are garunteed to kill someone with a gun shot is if the bullet severes the brain stem or you hit them in the heart or major artery to the heart. Being in the police academy, we have seen people that have been shot numerous times with .40s and .45s and they are still fighting. There was a kid in LA that got hit in the head by a stray .357 mag and lost the right lobe of his brain and went on to graduate college.

As far as this wrestler goes, props to him, hopefully he will be ok, and be on televised events that they show in prison, cause that would probably scare the guy that got caught.

This just goes to show how powerful thd body's natural endorphins are. He got shot three times and figured it was just a small cut from a punch! Funny how your brain just keeps those fluids locked up somewhere and we have no way to really produce them on our own.
