Wow, that's pretty tragic. I feel bad for the families. About 25 years ago, there was a similar case near me when someone on a chicken farm tripped and fell into a vat of chicken excrement. Died of asphyxiation.

This same thing has happened to people who enter railcars to clean them. If you can't see the gas or smell the gas, there just isn't any warning.
