This whole 'green' thing is getting a little ridiculous

Always seemed weird to me the amount of money and materials we use to preserve our rotting corpses.

Sky burials are even greener and time honored to boot. LifeGem is still my preference.

I wonder how 'green' my giant monument will be. I expect it to rival the pyramids in greatness, so probably...not very green at all.

I'm gonna need an eternal flame...a huge one that uses natural gas as well as light, sweet crude.

Bury me a pine box and let me rot. I won't care, and it'll save my family from paying the exorbitant costs of traditional funeral preparation and burial, which are criminal. I'm not sure how funeral home workers can sleep well at night knowing they gouge grieving relatives with funeral costs -- it's unconscionable to me. Ever meet a poor funeral home director? Nope!

Meh, just throw me on a fire, that's good enough and cheaper for my family.

Just ask someone for the box their fridge came in. that's good enough for me. Douse me in gas and light me up. You can save my ashes and use them for traction when the driveway is covered in ice.

I wouldn't mind that actually. Use to want a coffin, but what's the point. If I'm dead, throw me in a hole and be done with it.

$100 for a coffin? Sounds like a good deal compared to the usual cut-throat prices

Soylent is even Greener -- recycling FTW!

Since that's probably not legal, I guess I'll settle for cremation.

How about we just shoot you into the sun? It'll have the same after effects.

Indeed. It seems a bit pointless. It's not like relatives are going to periodically dig you up and look at you again.

Turn me into a ventriloquist dummy when I die. I really won't care one way or another what's done to the corpse. And it'd be great fun for kids everywhere! :D

Biodegradable coffins are nothing new. Cardboard coffins have existed for awhile now.

Of course, with the bodies being used for coffin production, there wouldn't be any need for the coffins then, would there? :p

Do you get paid for each time you say "eco-theism" in some form?

The eco friendly coffin needs to come from the other side of ocean, that will need no fuel.
