31 states 16 is the age of consent in 8 states it's 17 with the remainder being 18. So in almost 2/3 of the states a 40 year old can legally bang a 16 year old.

Not to come across as a pedophile, but for some reason a 40 y/o man banging a 16 teen girl doesn't bother me, however I'm really grossed out by the thought of a teen male having sexual relations with someone old enough to be his mother. I find that sort of thing to be disgusting.

No such thing as a 38 y.o. hottie. In fact I think women start going going downhill past 30-33.

I remember when I was 25 I asked my older co-worker who was around 30 if with age it meant finding older women ~35 just as attractive. Turns out it's true. They may go downhill but attraction would still be there. I'm now near 40 and I can see attractive moms everywhere.

yeah the age of consent is a thing because you have to set a cut-off at some point under which teen-agers are too weakminded to decide for themselves even with someone who is not their superior (as a teacher could get punished even if the pupil is above the age of consent but a minor, simply because of the power he has over pupils).

It does not mean that people below that arbitrary age are prepubescent though. In some stone-age countries people get married and have kids at 15, and they're not all pedos.

Well in almost 2/3 of the states you wouldn't be a pedophile. I am curious as to why a girl banging someone old enough to be her father doesn't bother you but a guy banging someone old enough to his mother does?

I always been grossed out and disgusted by males who would sleep around with women way older than themselves. And it is just not old women either, those who are very overweight makes me want to vomit as well.
