If so, how is this possible. Are they FORCING the cell phone companies to give up the numbers, or are they just opting to do this as a new way to earn revenue? If so, it's mighty fvcked up.

Yeah, I have always believed that, but you gotta admit those cell phone companies are always looking for a new way to make a buck off of ya

You are in America... In case a company gives away the numbers, the next day you would see a headline where someone would sue the company for the mental distress he/she underwent from the tele marketer calls. :D
