I am extremely grumpy today. Even my faithful white chocolate covered pretzels didn't get me out of my funk. I would really like to just punch someone in the face.

Fuckin tell me about it man. I have filled out more online applications and submitted more resumes in the past week then the rest of my life combined!

And the bad part is the shittier the job, the longer the application. I mean...why a 30+ page questionnaire to work in retail?????

Then the thing that really made my week great was that I had faxed over some paperwork to the unemployment place a couple weeks ago. Well yesterday the fax machine decides to spit out a report saying that it didn't go through! Someone was looking out for me though...yesterday was the last day I could fax the paperwork in and somehow the fax magically spit out that report to let me know it hadn't gone through.

i am using this pacareerlink site as one place to look for jobs. i had applied to like 4 jobs through it and wanted to go back through and see if i could call those places and get a status update. well the site shows that i have applied for 0 jobs, so now i wonder if they really went through or not and i can't even find the ones i applied to to see if they had a phone number.

also, it appears that if the employer takes the ad down, you can't go back and look at it so i'm screwed that way too.

also the recruiter i was working with is fucking worthless. not a single job sent my way even though i found a few that i am qualified for that they are recruiting for. wtf?
