I actually like crepes. When I went to France I ate a lot of them. I think Ricky Bobby was stupid for not admitting that crepes were good when it's a fact that they are.

Pancakes are bullshit. Crepes can't be consumed on their own (it's just a flimsy piece of dough), but you can stuff them with literally anything (I'm sure you could shove bark chips in there and it would be delicious). Crepes are the shit.

there's a crepe restaurant near my place. i had a greek crepe for dinner. it had chicken and black olives in it. quite tasty. for dessert i had an apple/caramel crepe. delicious.

i love crepes. sometimes i make them with a lemon-cheese filling and bake them in some custard. wonderful stuff, but its all in the filling.

theyre easy to make. once you mix the ingredients they need to sit for 30-60 minutes to let the flower soak in the liquid for maximum softyness

a little butter in a hot, non stick pan and you swirl it around a little to get it nice and thing. they cook fast, you'll always take the first 2 or 3 to get the hang of it and then the rest should come out ok

Pancakes are like waffles that failed. Put syrup on 'em, they absorb it all within seconds so by the time you're on your third bite, you're eating a gommy mess comparable to dried out cream of wheat. When you first start, they're great, but by the end you're so sick of them the thought of eating that last bite makes you want to vomit... And they're not cakes dammit. They are pies.

You've never heard of cream of wheat? And no, the pancakes are like that, not the waffles.

And by the way, cream of wheat is fucking delicious if you pour about 16 cups of sugar in it. The problem is it sets, and when it does, a nasty wheat skin forms over the top (like the skin on chocolate pudding), which is chewy and disturbing... not unlike a pancake.
