And then I cook it all on a gas grill.

Any food can be greatly enhanced by grilling it. Even *gasp* vegetables.

Best way to cook bratwurst IMO is to cook it in beer and onions then finish it on the grill.

+1

I just saw Bratwurst and dropped by he he real fast.

Sacrificing a bit of beer for Brats a good thing, IMHO.

LOL

those types of burgers are pretty much bottom of the barrel. I like to call them rancid-grease burgers. They seem to flare up big time on the grill.

I still buy them occasionally. ;)

I drive by Hermann every time I go to St. Louis, but I've never been there...

Oh gods damn it, I just missed Wurstfest, 3/22-23. However, there is the Wild Bacon Wine Trail on 5/4, and that looks promising.

I still like when the wife picks up Angus burgers at Publix now and these days, still waiting up for things to warm up and fire the old Weber sphere on Sundays and cook enough for almost the whole week in one grilling pass.

I guess it is all ready, really but haven't started the summer usually Sunday BBQ grille- a-thons yet.

I love Publix for several reasons, one of the biggest is because it is a large chain that is employee owned.

That and most the products great.

If you charcoal grill and have never tried this out and you have access, I highly recommend it, we tried it one time and have bought it ever since.

I wish I was better at remembering buying the good stuff from the local butcher.

Don't care for Brats. But I do like Italians. The best way to cook 'em is on a electric grill. They come out not burnt and taste great! Add onions and peppers and you have a damn good meal! I want to get one of those things that you can add stuff in the middle of your burger like cheese. I love deer and buffalo too! Buffalo just melts in your mouth and no fat!

Fuck I'm hungry now! Think I'll grab a hot pocket. LOL!
