I have to throw this together really quickly, I don't have time for much research and thought.

Volcano 5 (should be ok without any OC'ing, right?)

Plextor 12/10/32

Any conflicts, problems, am I missing anything obvious?

go with a light-on burner as you can probably get a 40x for the same price as a plextor 12x and why not go DDR ram as the prices are pretty much the same.

Why not just go retail if you aren't going to OC and you will get the 3 year warranty...

Poncherelli: I already have the Plextor burner and the SDRAM from an older system

gnef: I'm on a very low budget. The retail is more expensive, and I happen to already have the HSF laying around.
