I grew up in MN and was so glad to have left. I tell people there are like 8 weeks in the year where it's nice. Usually at the peak of any season it was beautiful to live there...the rest of the time was crap. If it's not the snow, it's the slush. if it's not the heat, it's the mosquitos and humidity. The barrens after winter and the smell of dead fish on the lakes.

I still like to visit family out there, but now i don't stay very long.

Shhhh.....

You are letting everyone know that even Minnesotans complain about the fucking Minnesotan weather

Aww poor baby, the weather was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I bet that happens nowhere else in the world! Growing up, I would have killed for it to be 110 in the summer, considering it was higher than that with much higher humidity.

And if you think MN has 8 weeks of nice weather, go spend a year in Alabama or Mississippi.

Well you started you OP with the F word, so you pretty much the 1st one to complain and your profile says you live there. You are pretty much playing into the stereotype of a Minnesotan.

Good job you win this thread because you have faced harsher climactic conditions.

Your neighbor to the west... It's one of a handful of days over 90 this summer, none over 100 so far. I can't really complain about that. Can't wait to go home and sit in my puddle of water in the back yard.

Not the fucking heat.

The problem is the fucking horrible humidity.

Yeah, that's not great today. Causing some serious RF issues around our area. But hey, that's what A/C is for. I feel for those people that work outdoors today though. I kinda wanted to go for a jog today, but that's unrealistic.

I don't like carrying crap when I run. The arm band for my phone (for music) is bad enough.

I'm a little stiff from Tough Mudder over in Hudson last Saturday. Was hoping a quick couple miles would work things out. Maybe tomorrow.

ehhh, can get those strap thingies?

I usually do not like to drink water while I am running, heat or no heat. I only like to run >4 miles anyway, any more and I get bored.
