This really sucks.

I was going to start on a new build tonight for my parents.

Ordered everything from NewEgg, and 3 out of 4 of the boxes came....
but not what I needed to start the build.
Just got the case, speakers and monitor.

dam....the HD, optical drives, RAM, CPU, heatsink, fans, etc. are all in the box that
didn't arrive....

Now I have to wait till Tuesday for that last box.

I was planning to start the build this weekend....oh well.
 
I know that feeling...🙁

One thing you can do while you wait is work on bundling the PSU wires and formulating a plan to run them cleanly through the case to maximize airflow...

I feel for ya. Happened a couple of times to me.

Actually, I had ordered two 256MB SD cards for my camera and hoped they'd get here before this weekend so that maybe I could take a bunch of 4th of July pictures. Oh well. I'll be using them a week later when I go on vacation.
 
This actually happens to me all the time. The most important components either arrive last or are defective and I need to RMA them. Extremely annoying.

I would LOVE to do that, but the PSU was in the last box too dammit.

Ordered an Antec PSU seperately.
Antec case P160....Sweet case.

What I will do is install the Mobo Front Panel and prep the case as much as possible.

I think this is Fedex' fault dangit!
They were all shipped at the same time.
 
I alwayse get my parts in one large box, even if it's only a muvo^2. It came in a 50x50x50cm old monitor box.

don't polish unless you wish to remove the clearcoat(if it doesn't have a protective paintlike coating go ahead with polishing..use Meguiars or Mothers 😉) ..can install front case fans as you are fiddling with the front panel..

Sucks even more when the shipment does finally show up and something's broken.🙁 My new Antec SLK3700AMB has two broken clips on the front - one was outside of the case by the time I got it; the other was just barely hanging on. I bought some Plastic Welder epoxy today; going to see if it can bond to the plastic cover. If not, I'll try to get a replacement from Newegg. I figured I'd try to repair it, rather than just sending it to its death in a landfill right away.
 
FEDEX always does that, I odered RAM and Ceramique, they shipped 2 seperate days, o wait, except one day they delivered the RAM while I was sleeping (10 in the morning) and then I got them both the next day because I signed that drop of slip. I'm not too crazy about FEDEX, but the egg rocks 🙂
 
heh i've had everything for my system come on a friday... Then one box did't come. What did it contain? Oh just the heatsink for the processor 🙂 That was anoying 😀
 
still waiting....at least got the case ready and posted a couple questions about that earlier
if anyone knows.

I did get my Vid card last week though! Ha

I could have been finished with this by tomorrow....oh well
there goes my week. 🙁
