This song and video is strangely addictive.

If you dont have an ear for j-pop then its probably best that you dont trash it in the first place  Keep music opinions based upon the genre its in. Dont try to compare Hikaru to Dragonforce, Tool, or Chamillionare. Compare her to Shigake and other Japanese musical artists. If you dont like that genre, then dont say anything. Or simply say "I don't have a taste for that kind of music." Just quit threadcrapping.
OK, I don't have a taste for utter crap!

And here is another good example of threadcrapping  And what exactly do you consider good?
You mean you honestly think that sh!t is good? Where you dropped on your head as a child?

Why the heck do you insist on threadcrapping dude? The point wasn't whether I liked it or not. But the fact you continue to use derogatory statements to anyone who doesn't agree with you. That only makes you out to be immature and useless to this forum community.

I listen to a lot of japanese music... and that first song posted is plain bad. Second song posted is ok. Third song isn't that great but the video is sort of cool...

Has any Japanese artist ever had commercial success in the US?

Puffi Ami Yumi. Though I dont really like them at all 😛 As for your considerations on what you felt was good, can't say i agree with you at all. But then again, if you like it, what do i care

LOL, have you even heard that song? If you have then I'd be impressed as I wouldn't think someone that was into Japanese bubblegum pop would listen to Jazz and Flamenco Guitarists.

I have a VERY eclectic music taste actually. I'm just not fond though of jazz. And I'm not font of very steep cutural Spanish music (flamenco guitarists included)
