Something caught my attention on the product page.

Buy more and save more
Buy 2 pcs @ $47 EACH, Free FedEx Saver shipping
Buy 10 pcs @ $45 EACH, Free FedEx Saver shipping
Buy 40 pcs @ $40 EACH, Free FedEx Saver shipping

Do you think they recently changed the price or made a price mistake?

why would u buy "bulk" if it would cost more per case (well unless u shell out for 40 of them things)....

It's just like how some people can't spell worth a s&it,
some people shouldn't be around numbers ;)
...although you're lack of thorough editing theory is probably the truth

Nope, read the description guys... they limit you to one of these at the $43 price. After that you pay full price.

That is a good deal on a decent case.
But I wouldn't get it as a mod project for a couple of reasons.
  • It only has 3 of the 5" bays. So after you put in your DVD or reg. CD ROM drive, that only leaves you one left for the DigiDoc, Baybus, NewQ, Live Drive, etc.
  • If you look at the side panel where the window would go, especially the big one that Infos linked to, you're going to run out of room quick since it has the vent holes positioned vertically, and the big finger hold toward the back is rather large.
  • Also the funky shape of the lower front could make modding a big fan in there tough, but maybe a good challenge.
Not crapping here, just my .02 on looking at it from a modders point of view.

dAM* you guys and your great links
I think I might get the purple one too  I like the fan on the top ;)
By the way when I talk about modding generally I mean putting a few bells
and whistles on a case I'm fixing to sell....
so Fireman thanks for the input put I'm not planning on buying a Barton
and hanging evything I can on this but rather I want to make it attractive for a potential buyer :)
By the way the nice thing about those laser etched windows I linked to above is they are
available in all kinds of shapes and sizes

Raidmax 268 series

$42.99 no ps | $52.99 350W ps
***free shipping on both***

I've done 2 systems with this series. Both were intel machines, so I didn't put the 5 fans in that this case can swallow. Nice steel on the inside. The Foxconn looks like a finger eater. I do like the Foxconn's fron bezel though. I built an Athlon machine 2 years back with that ps; the guy hasn't called back yet...

edit: Something to note... I built a system using one of Raidmax's cheaper black cases. They basically paint a beige case black :disgust: this one. I've built with this one.
