I have had some knee injuries from Vball. That video you showed is why you shouldn't hit balls behind your head. This is why proper form is so important. The kid took a shot at a ball that was too far behind and to the side making him arch backwards in a bad position. This causes a bad, uneven landing risking injury like this. I proper spike always goes up with 2 feet and lands with 2 feet with the contact point of the ball slightly in front of your head.

One thing about Vball too is you have to learn how to properly fall and dive. Not doing so results in common injuries to wrists, knees, ankles, and elbows. Impact to the floor should be spread out as much as possible.

I learned on concrete court. You either learn it in a hurry or die.
