Are you running a DHCP server or static IP's? You should be able to cancel out of the logon and still get into 98, run "winipcfg" to see if you are getting an IP. See if you can even ping the server or any other boxes

Yes I can Ping the server from the workstation and vise versa. I can also ping all workstations, but it just wont let me logon as a certain username. I use other usernames on this machine, and it logs on ok, but otherwise no luck. Checked to make sure the usernames passord hadnt expired and its set to never expire from the user manager for domains.....I tryed net use command through DOS and cannot do it due to not being logged on...Also, IPs are set statically so they never change.

Any Ideas?

Have you tried to simply reset the password for that user and have him log in with the new password? Can this person log into the network from other computers?

Yep I did that first, I went to user man for domains and changed the "Password Never Expires" to "User Must change pass at next logon." Still nothing. I eventually added the user to the administrators group and Voila! Instant access....I dont want to leave this person in the admins group, but at this point I dont have a choice...anyone have suggestions?

Couldn't you just recreate the account? 1 NT server and 5 clients isn't much of a network. No offense, of course.
