err it seemed like everything was perfectly fine. if i recall, it was a feature that MS promised in Win 7 but never came through with, and it was left unfinished in the code of the OS and these people finished it.

Its an extremely small file and really really uncomplicated. apparently its supposed to be good for when you go to a hotel or somewhere similar and you have to pay for internet; this way, one person connects and other people can share, thus limiting the cost.

i just got the idea to use it because for some damned reason my ps3 and router dont work nice together, but my laptop in the same room as the ps3 worked fine.
