I think a lot of the guys have to be into other guys to get anywhere (or pretend), but I bet the top guys aren't doing it, and I did see an interview with jenna and she said she loves her job because she's paid to have crazy sex, although perhaps that was just to appease the cameras.

Yeah, its hard to judge off those interviews whether they are telling the truth, because obviously it helps the mystique of a porn star if her audience thinks she loves the freaky sex, and Jenna knows how to make money... I'm pretty sure she'd lie to the camera if it means making boatloads more $$$, so who knows the truth for real?

it's true. at least for people just starting in the business. in the pbs special i saw last year, they featured this one guy who admitted that being a male porn star didn't make a lot of money and that to make more money oftentimes they would have to do gay porn which was extremely difficult. they even showed the guy(not graphically) at a gay porn shoot and he couldn't get aroused. so he didn't make any money that day.

i havent seen firsthand, but im gonna agree with DurocShark here, i would find it to be extremely depressing.
