There are lots of games where I haven't played the 1st edition of. I could have, but I just chose not to because when I discovered the game the 2 nd or 3rd version was out already like Heroes of Might and Magic and warcraft. The graphics just look like it was drawn with a crayon by a 2 year old on the earlier releases in comparison with the newer versions. Why play the older version when a much better version is out?

Anyway, why do you care what someone does with their money when it has nothing to do with you?

As long as they're making money off the products, they don't care. Ideology tends to be lost when you're talking on the order of millions, even billions, of dollars. Many of software programmers with positive missions have turned to "the dark side" when they become extremely successful.

I'm just curious as to why you are so interested in what games your friends buy. It's not so much that I care as it is something to think about for 2 seconds before I read a new thread.
