well "bort license plates" is a joke in the Simpsons.
I think that is the joke here... if so, as an avid Simpsons fan, and a regular user of the joke in question, I have to say, this is brilliant.

I get it, but I only think of that bit funny as it relates to novelty fake license plates, not the real deal.

Yeah, there are a few of these images and this isn't one of the better ones. I can see the smile in the right hand car but the left hand car doesn't really have a "face" so it doesn't work.

Hmm, apparently it won't allow it in some instances (OMG WTF, 0MG WTF, WTF MAN), but seems ok in others (WTF ROFL, WTF SON, ORLY WTF). But, I don't know if they would approve it even though the website takes it...

Then again, I snuck "OH SH1T" by them before.
