I was running 16x133 = 2108 for 2 days @ default voltage. I just bumped it up to 16x138 = 2208 @ 1.6v tonight and completed a 7.983 angle WU in 2:50! I know, I know, it's an easy WU but still, that's pretty dasmned fast!

Keep in mind the quality Asus P4B266-C / P4 1.6a Northwood cost $265 plus shipping! :D Might not be the 2002 version of the 300A but it's pretty nice!

Thanks to the folks in the CPU/Processors and Overclocking forum for the info!

(now if we could just get a few of them to come over here and show off their rigs) ;)

That is kick @ss fast!! Nice rig! But I think I'll keep my dual Athlon with more wu/day. :p

m2kewl: Hehe... Funny you should mention a dualie AMD rig. I sold Crazee my TigerMP / AMD 1.2Ghz MP / 512MB to get this system. As sweet as that box was I like the Intel better. It's "snappier" for what I do. Nothing beats MP as far as SETI but this is my main rig and I wanted the speed of a fast single CPU instead of a "quick" dualie. I know I'm gonna lose about 4 WU's per day but I can live with that.

Down the road I'll probably replace my 2nd and 3rd systems with AMD dualies. I just couldn't afford to keep the AMD dualie and upgrade to the 1.6a. :(

Heh, unfortunately, FedEx didn't deliver "overnight" as they should've. Crazeee should've had his parts this afternoon but FedEx dropped the ball. Now he's gotta pickup his parts if he wants them tomorrow. :( I know it's FedEx's fault but I still feel bad. :|

Robor,

Don't feel bad it is not your fault Fedex screwed up. You have been great keeping me informed of shipping and tracking numbers. Judging by the posts in the FS/FT forum you make most traders look bad :)

Thanks for the kind comment Crazee... I don't consider myself a trader/seller or anything as I've not done much of that but when I say I'll ship something overnight I do it. I did that and I feel bad that your parts didn't arrive today. It happens, I know I've ordered parts that were supposed to ship "same day" but didn't and the 2 day shipping went over a weekend. That sucked. I mean, it sucked and I was pissed at the time but looking with perspective it's no biggie. There's a lot more problems in the world than my Plextor burner getting here before the weekend. Spending 10 minutes really reading section "A" usually brings me back to reality and puts my "work" back in perspective.
