this or that

Specs of system:

2200+
nf2 matx chaintech mobo
gig of 3200 corsair value
6800nu w/ pipes and shaders unlocked
7200rpm HD

update:

was looking at refurbds and found these:

ASUS "K8V-X" VIA K8T800 for $44
ASUS "K8N" NVIDIA nForce3 Chipset for $49
MSI nForce3 250 for $53

Which motherboard above would be best paired with a 3000+ A64?

I"m either looking at a refurb board from above with a 3000+ or a retail board with a 2800+.

Wanting to overclock a little.

Trying to keep the total for cpu and mobo under $200

think i will get a nice little increase going from a 2200+/nf2 matx mobo to a Asus A7N8X with an XP 3000 (400fbs)?

opinions?

Games yes, overall speed of the system no.

I just got a mobile athlon 2500 with an abit nf&-s ver 2 motherboard that runs at 215X11 on my value pc3200 for only $80 shipped.

i can get a MSI K8N Neo Platinum 754 w/retail box and extras for 65 bucks on the forums, pair it with a 2800+ 64.

what ya think?

That would be much better than going with another AXP.

I have the K8N and it works fine for me. I've never purchased refurbished parts before though. I've heard mixed responses. Too risky for me. IMHO, if you have an extremely strict budget, I'd go with a retail board and 2800.
