i've talked to the mod. i personally think he doesn't know anything and trying to make a name for himself here. problem is he might troll maybe one of you guys so i wouldn't risk it and i dont think he knows that he has to ship stuff out.

sorry to all of those who had problems with him.

dangzero registered three days ago. Since then, several of our moderators warned him about offering CD/DVD game keys without the disks and posting multiple threads and persistant lowball thread crapping on FS/T.

Since he was warned, he continued to post multiple threads and, most seriously, to offer CD/DVD game keys to other members without the installation media. We view this as a serious breach of ethics, and we cannot trust him to trade honestly.

he can be monitored by all means but if he starts to mess up again it might lead to that but thats too harsh.

if he's been permabanned, then made a new account and came back... without mod approval... that's a troll.. and he deserves IP bannage.


 
he didn't troll anyone. he's new here. he's only been here for like what 4 days.

he didn't read up the rules and for those who are new that post in the FS/FT section always are noticed by the mods to have a ref and also have a profile where the general public can see.

so far he hasn't done anything but make threads and crap on peoples thread but thats a newbie move. i bet you've done it before also. haven't we all?

here it is, right from the RULES at the top of this forum:

8) Only one account is allowed per person. If you've been given a vacation or a ban, do not create a new account. Instead, please discuss the matter with our moderators via email at moderator@anandtech.com. We have various ways to check if accounts were started by the same person. We will also permaban new accounts based on strong circumstantial evidence or the appearance that they may be secondary accounts.

He continued offering game keys without installation media, posting multiple threads and thread crapping AFTER being warned. and he continued the same activity under his second account.

As a mod, that's more than enough reason not to trust him to trade ethically. AFIC, that makes him a troll and more of hassle than I care to deal with.
